Help Adopt a Family this Christmas!
Lakewood UCC is sponsoring a family this Christmas season through the Action Center’s new Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program. We are collecting toys, clothing, grocery gift cards, and wrapping supplies to help a single mom and her six children celebrate Christmas. If you would like to contribute, please see the Christmas tree in the Narthex for additional details and instructions on signing up. We will also be collecting extra grocery gift cards for the Action Center to give to additional families in need as we expect this to be a particularly expensive and difficult holiday season and winter for those families. This new program is intended to address the specific needs and wishes of the families the Action Center serves, and these donations will be in lieu of a toy drive.
