“Praise God with trumpet sound; praise God with lute and harp! Praise God with tambourine and dance; praise God with strings and pipe! Praise God with clanging cymbals; praise God with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!”
Psalm 150:3-6

Music Ministry

Music is at the center of our worship. We love making a joyful noise to God. And we believe that God is so big that no one kind of music will do. On any given Sunday, our music ranges from traditional to contemporary and might include anything from classic hymns to gospel and folk music. Oh, and we have a gorgeous eleven-rank pipe organ at the front of our Sanctuary! See below for some of our recurring music opportunities.

Choral Offerings

Chancel Choir this all voices ensemble generally sings once a month.
Higher Voices – this soprano/alto ensemble generally sings every other month.
Lower Voices – this tenor/bass ensemble generally sings every other month.
Rehearsals are on Sunday morning.
Children’s Choir – this is a no-rehearsal group, that sings once a month with our Music Director in Worship.

Bell Choir

Handbells aren’t just for the Christmas season! They’re a beautiful complement to worship all year round. Our Bell Choir (also known as “C to Shining C”) generally performs the “special music” at one Sunday service per month. Bell choir rehearses on Sundays at 11:45 am.
