Rev. Mollie Landers Hatt

Associate Pastor

Mollie is a Northeast transplant who loves exploring all that Colorado has to offer, especially with her two pups and spouse, and two young kiddos. Building community and being outside is what she loves best. For more information on Mollie, click here.

Allison Booth

Director of Communications

Allison hails from Georgia and moved here with her husband, Jacob, in 2018. She has over a decade of experience working with churches all over the country, as well as a strong background in the arts after pursuing fine arts and theatrical design throughout her schooling. When not in the office, you’ll find her working on her freelance Children’s Book gigs, watering her plants, exploring the Botanical Gardens, or hanging with her kitties, Olaf and Mickey!

Rahul Gupta

Finance Manager

Rahul hails from New Delhi, India. He moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2004 and moved to Denver metro in early 2021. He is an MBA with an undergraduate in Business Studies from Delhi University. He has worked for over 20 years and his last two positions were in financial operations with Blackberry and American Express. He is married with two adult kids. His wife is an electrical engineer with Jacobs Engineering. His daughter is a doctor with Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA and his son is a mechanical engineer working with Schneider Electric Company in Boston, MA. In his spare time, Rahul loves hiking and traveling with his wife.

Allyson Koplen

Music Director

Allyson lives in the Highlands in Denver, where she teaches piano in her home studio. She grew up in Ekalaka, Montana where her parents still operate a cattle ranch. Allyson has a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Florida State University, a Bachelor of Music degree in piano pedagogy from the University of Montana, and a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing also from the University of Montana. She and her husband Jake love playing music together (he plays the saxophone), and they try to play outside as much as possible.

Alan Thompson

Choir Director/ Organist

Alan was born and raised in Colorado but moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend Union College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music. He did post-graduate work in voice, organ, and music history at The University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He also holds a degree in Pharmacy Sciences from Creighton University. He was Music Director/Organist at Antelope Park Church for 32 years. Alan decided to move back to Colorado in 2018 and lives in Lakewood with his partner, Michael Percival, who is a Specialties Buyer for Whole Foods Market. They have four furry children, Miko, Misha, Rusty, and Sasha.

Amber Woodward

Nursery Caregiver

Amber is an early childhood educator who currently teaches in Boulder, Colorado. Originally from Colorado Springs, she earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She moved back to Colorado to teach in Denver and recently earned her master’s degree in instruction and curriculum from the University of Denver.  In addition to her deep love for teaching, Amber enjoys doing art, knitting, and getting outside. She has one very mischievous cat named Mitten and many houseplants.”

Brenda Zserdin

Interim Director of Comms

Brenda was born in Denver and has lived in the Metro area most of her life. She has owned Flutterby Designs since 2002 and has served several non-profits over the last fifteen years. Her family first came to Lakewood UCC in 2009. Although at various points her home has been quite the zoo, currently she lives with her husband, David, son, Alex, and ring neck dove, Birdee. She enjoys music, crafting, reading, and lots of geeky pursuits. She hopes to keep the ship on course while Allison pursues schooling in London!
