Your Mission Board has a challenge for you! Last year, we worked with a Burmese refugee family and became acquainted with the good folks at Project Worthmore who, through their community gardening program, are providing healthy food and meaningful work to refugees in the Denver area. The Mission Board has pledged to donate $200 to Project Worthmore’s $25,000 fundraising drive, and they’d like to challenge the congregation to do the same. Will you help raise an additional $200? Every penny you give before September 25 will be doubled by Project Worthmore’s matching grant.
