DESCRIPTION:You may have noticed that we are including more lay-led prayers to our worship services\, particularly when either Pastor Curt or Rev. Mollie are out of town. As Congregationalists\, we celebrate the voices of all who are a part of the community\, not just the ordained ministers. We feel that including more diverse voices in worship is valuable.\n \nWe are hosting a workshop on being a liturgist on Sunday\, June 4. The “liturgist” is a name for a person who reads prayers and helps to lead worship. Please consider joining us for this workshop if you are interested in learning more about writing prayers\, offering prayers during worship\, or just about how the various parts of service come together. SUMMARY:Helpers Needed for Potluck Journey with Jesus this Summer!
DESCRIPTION:Faith Formation is again offering a potluck intergenerational event this summer\, for four Wednesdays starting July 12. This summer we will Potluck and Journey with Jesus through the landscapes of mountains\, lakes\, desert\, and pastures. We’ll explore a Jesus story together with song\, art\, nature\, and play. This is truly for all ages! We need helpers to run stations\, set up\, and clean up\, if you are interested in helping with the potluck or programming\, sign up here or on the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center. Programming helpers will have training on June 21 (with a potluck from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm) to be prepared to lead. Thank you for being part of these fun events! Questions?
