SUMMARY:Lenten Book Study
DESCRIPTION:This year we’ll be reading “Sabbath As Resistance; Saying ‘no’ in the Culture of Now” by Walter Bruggemann. This is a short but important book about what keeping sabbath looks like as 21st century Americans. While many of us have seen life “slow down” during the pandemic\, we may not have thought intentionally about what resting means and how countercultural it really is.  If you would like us to get you a copy of the book\, please let Pastor Curt know and we’ll order you one. Click HERE for the Zoom link to join!

DESCRIPTION: \n\n \n\n \n\n                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Due to the impending snowstorm\, we are moving the Vigil to March 21\, at 6:30pm. The same link works for registration. Sunday\, March 21\, we will offer a vigil of remembrance and lament\, marking a year since the beginning of the stay at home orders\, when our lives were transformed by COVID-19. We will gather at 6:30 pm in the courtyard area by the west side parking lot for a time of candle lighting\, prayer\, and being together (while social distanced) as we grieve the incredible losses of this past year. Masks are required. Please sign up here. The sign up includes a waiver and screening questions. In case of inclement weather or if you do not want to gather in person with other\, we will have a pre-recorded vigil available on our YouTube channel.
