All will help us engage the questions of life\, death\, and what we do with what we’ve been given in between.\n\n \n\nAugust 19\nGarden State (R)\n\nAndrew Largeman (Zack Braff) ran away from his home\, parents\, and any sort of real responsibility. He shuffled through life in a lithium-induced coma until his mother’s death inspired a vacation from the pills to see what might happen. He began to feel the pain he had longed for and began to have a genuine relationship with a girl who had some problems of her own.\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Save the date! In French\, it’s “Mardi Gras.” In English it’s “Fat Tuesday”—traditionally the last day Christians could eat sugary\, fatty foods before fasting for the season of Lent. Whether or not you’re fasting for Lent\, join us in the Fellowship Hall as we continue this ancient tradition with our Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper. We’ll be using an “open house” format\, with food served from 5:30 to a little before 7:00 p.m.\, so come whenever you can. Also\, we’ll need people to help set up that night around 4:00 p.m.
