SUMMARY:Anti Racism Book Club
DESCRIPTION:The Anti-Racism Book Club’s next meeting will be on November 22 at 11:30 am where we’ll be discussing former NFL player Michael Bennett’s memoir\, ‘Things That Make White People Uncomfortable.‘ If you’ve had difficulty acquiring any of the books\, we have some great news! MOE has purchased two copies of each of the books for the rest of the schedule\, so you’ll be able to grab a copy at church (we’ll put the precise location in an upcoming midweek). You don’t have to come to every book group meeting; we hope you’ll join us for the discussion of any book you find intriguing!

SUMMARY:Advent Decorating 
DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID restrictions\, we will not be able to gather altogether to decorate the church building for Advent and Christmas. However\, we are still planning to do some decorating. We are looking for volunteers who are willing and able to do a few small projects to help get us in the right spirit for Christmas. We need people who are comfortable with stepstools and ladders for some projects. Others can safely be done from the ground. If you are interested in decorating and available on Sunday\, Nov. 22 or Monday\, Nov. 23\, please email Curt at curt@lakewooducc.com He’s coordinating the schedule and list of projects.
