We’ll kick off with two environmentally-themed movies–Wall-E (rated G) on June 22 and Racing Extinction (rated PG-13) on June 29–with discussion hosted by our Care for Creation Ministry. Then\, in July\, we’ll move to the main event: four movies on the theme of becoming who we really are. DESCRIPTION:Lakewood UCC will once again be marching in the Denver Pridefest Parade in solidarity with LGBT folks. We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 7:15 a.m.\, then carpool over to Cheesman Park and join the other UCC churches near the front of the parade by 8:00 a.m. The parade will wend its way down Colfax Avenue and finish at Civic Center Park.
