DESCRIPTION:For Lent this year\, we will support The Gathering Place (TGP)\, a daytime resource center in Denver. TGP serves women\, gender-diverse individuals\, and children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. TGP offers a variety of ways to serve their members and relies on donations and community support to do so. LUCC will help in a few main ways:\n\n 	March 29: We’ll collect donations of new full-size toiletries for families: shampoo\, conditioner\, deodorant\, soap\, and toothpaste.

DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday is the day we remember the harrowing events of Jesus’ final days as we receive his new commandment\, “that we may love one another.” At 6:30 pm\, we’ll share a simple supper\, as Jesus did with his disciples. At 7:30 pm\, we’ll move to our Tenebrae service (from the Latin word meaning “shadows”)\, walking through the shadows of Jesus’ last days again\, listening to lessons\, and watching as lights are extinguished one by one. Communion will also be offered. Please feel free to come to just the supper\, just the service\, or both.
