DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars to attend the LUCC annual Blessing of the Animals service on Saturday\, October 5 beginning at 10:00 am.  Reverend Mollie Landers Hatt and the LUCC Care for Creation team will host participants in a spiritual celebration of all creatures—great and small.  If you are an individual who recognizes the value of companionship and connection with animals\,  you will appreciate this special service planned for the day after St. Francis of Assisi (patron saint of animals) Feast Day!  Join us in the courtyard and bring your friendly companion animal (pet) or a photo to have a blessing bestowed.  Plant-based refreshments will be served.
