DESCRIPTION:Along with our brand new Praise Team\, we’re launching a Kids and Youth Choir this year! Our Director of Music Ministries\, Travis Kornegay\, is an elementary school music teacher\, and loves working with young people. He’s planning to have our kids and youth sing during worship October 4\, and is inviting them to two rehearsals: this Sunday after worship in the Music Room\, and next Sunday before worship in the Sanctuary. DESCRIPTION:Neighbors in Need is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry\, while two-thirds are used by the UCC’s Justice and Witness Ministries to support a variety of justice initiatives\, advocacy efforts\, and grants for direct service projects.
