As part of our work with the Lakewood Faith Coalition, your Mission, Outreach, and Evangelism board is starting to develop a relationship with Deane Elementary School, a Title 1 school in Lakewood. Of the many things Deane Elementary provides to its students and families is access to a food pantry. As our first effort to help Deane Elementary, its students, and their families, we will be collecting donations for their food pantry on November 19 and 26. Items they are requesting include:

• Whole grain cereal, like Raisin Bran, Honey Nut Cheerios, Granola, etc.
• Creamy peanut butter
• One-minute rice
• Ranch dressing
• Buttermilk or similar pancake mix boxes

If you would like to donate to this cause, please bring your donation to the church on one of those Sundays. There will be a collection box in the fellowship hall. Please consider donating to this school in need. Remember, no donation is too small!
