“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.”
Psalm 100:1-2

We meet for worship every Sunday at 10:15 a.m., and we’d love it if you stopped by and joined us. You can park in the large west lot on Carr Street or the smaller east lot on Brentwood Avenue. Street parking is also available. Please enter through the main doors on 1st Avenue. When you come in, a welcomer will greet you and answer any questions you might have.

Worship 03 People usually arrive a little early and hang out in the lobby inside the front doors until about 10:10 a.m. Then they pick up a worship bulletin at the Sanctuary doors, go in, and sit wherever they want. The service lasts for about an hour, and includes a welcome, announcements, prayers, songs, Bible readings, and a sermon. Our worship tends to feel casual and traditional at the same time, with music that ranges from classic hymns to gospel, folk, and contemporary. If you want to, you’ll have a chance to greet the people sitting around you, share your joys and concerns, and give to the work of the church.
Worship 04 The sermon is a 15-minute reflection delivered by the Pastor or a guest preacher that connects our everyday lives with faith and the Bible. We hope what you hear on Sunday will give you something new to think about, help you feel closer to God and a community of faith, and inspire you to live freely, love boldly, and work passionately for justice and peace.
Worship 06 Please wear whatever is comfortable for you. Some of our folks wear suits and dresses, and some wear jeans and t-shirts. God doesn’t care. Neither do we.
Worship 01 We provide nursery care for infants through three-year-olds on Sunday mornings. Our trained and experienced attendants are available every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the worship service. Please sign your child in and out of the Nursery Room, which is located in the northeast corner of the building.
Worship 02 Sunday School for children from Pre-Kindergarten to 6th Grade is held during worship. Students are invited to begin in worship with their parent(s)/guardian(s), and then leave after about 10 minutes, during the “Passing of the Peace.” For more on our kids’ programs, click here. Worship 05 On the first Sunday of every month, we share bread and grape juice as a way of remembering the final meal that Jesus ate with his disciples. We have an open communion table. All who wish to take communion are welcome to do so, including children. Once received, please hold the bread until all have been served so we can eat as one body. Do the same for the juice. The bread used is gluten-free.
