The Annual Advent Event is upon us! Let’s kick off the season on December 2 with a party! Come to Lakewood UCC to deck the halls (and the sanctuary). There will be holiday snacks for eating, holiday crafts for kids and adults alike, and plenty of holiday joy to share with one another. This is personally one of my favorite Lakewood UCC traditions. So join us for the Annual Advent Event as we enter this busy and beautiful season.

And if you a particularly arts/crafts-minded person, we can use your help! Please contact Logan if you are interested in supervising one of our craft tables. Instructions and materials will be provided in abundance, along with gratitude!

Any gift that you purchase at the Alternative Gift Market will support worthy social causes with real economic and environmental impacts, both here in Denver and across the globe. This Sunday in Worship

Sunday, November 12, 10:15 am

This is the third and final week of our Stewardship series focused on Celebrating our WOW Moments: Growing Faith, Giving Thanks, and Increasing Love. There is an old children’s song called, “The Magic Penny” which says, “love is something that if you give it away, you end up having more.” God calls us to be reckless in our loving, giving it away wherever and to whomever we can. This week in worship we’ll focus on our increasing love and how God’s love is an inexhaustible well from which we draw. Additionally, we’ll collect our 2018 pledge cards and join together in a celebratory luncheon following worship. This will be a great Sunday not to be missed! Check out our Narrative Budget for more information on our Stewardship Campaign.
