Kids 2
Kids 01We provide nursery care for infants through three-year-olds on Sunday mornings. Our trained, experienced, and vetted caregivers are available every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the worship service. Please sign your child in and out of the Nursery Room, which is located in the northeast corner of the building.
Kids 02Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.” On Sunday mornings, pre-K through 6th grade children start in worship and then leave for Faith Formation during the “Passing of the Peace.” Our volunteer teachers, or Faith Formation Companions welcome the children into a positive, loving, fun, and safe space. Through age-appropriate, Bible-based activities—including arts and crafts, drama, stories, songs, discussion, and spiritual practices—children encounter God, learn about Jesus, and begin the journey of discovering how to live as thoughtful and engaged Christians.
Our Children’s Spirituality Camp (previously known as Vacation Bible School) takes place every year for one week in June. Led by dedicated and loving volunteers, Children’s Spirituality Camp invites kids from the congregation, neighborhood kids, and any other kids who are interested to come explore it with us. Through arts, outdoor exploration, spiritual practices, and community build, Spirituality and Faith comes alive in new ways for kids and adults alike. Cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.
In January of 2020, We started an Our Whole Lives program for grades 4-5. This comprehensive look at sexuality is top notch, a holistic curriculum rooted in the goodness of God, and that our bodies and sexuality is a good and holy part of who we are. Led by highly trained and vetted lay leaders and the Associate Pastor, this program is part of curriculum for all ages. Please see the OWL web-site for more information.

The Faith Formation Board hopes to offer additional sessions for other age groups in the future, and invites others to lean into the program and become trained facilitators.
