On Sunday, November 24 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm we will be hosting our second Listening Well, Leaning In conversation. The topic will be on the intersection of Politics and Religion. We know that the US Constitution protects our freedom to practice (or not practice) any religion as we choose. We know that churches and religious people often have values that lead them to support or oppose certain governmental actions and laws. While we may talk about separation of church and state, how that actually gets practiced is more nuanced. We take our faith with us to the ballot box, to the protest, and to the Capitol or other governmental agencies. Join us for what will undoubtedly be a spirited conversation about how we personally and collectively navigate the intersections of religion and politics. Please RSVP by signing up on the Welcome Center. Questions? Please contact Rev. Mollie or Pastor Curt.
