Neighbors and congregants, newcomers and long-timers are all welcome for our drive-in or walk-up to Ashes 2 Go this Ash Wednesday, February 17, at Lakewood UCC, in the parking lot. The imposition of ashes is a physical reminder that “from dust we have come, and to dust we will return.” While seemingly somber, this is a chance for us to be honest with God and ourselves, we are here on this earth for just a short time and ponder how we will live. For the care and safety of all, each person will receive ashes from an individual container, masks are required, and the pastors will be hand sanitizing between each person. Please reach out with any questions. We will offer a pre-recorded service on our YouTube channel (please link to our YouTube Channel), available anytime Ash Wednesday. You can also pick up a container of ashes, to share with your household during the service, if you prefer.Ash Wednesday Service Now Available
