Join us for the Alternative Gift Market, before and after worship on December 5 and 12. The alternative gift market is our way of supporting local and global non-profits who do such great work in the world. We will have items to purchase from the Women’s Bean Project and Earthlinks, two local social nonprofit enterprises that offer transitional employment and provide a safe environment for those that have been chronically unemployed.  As a tradition, we will again be having our “Incredible Edibles” table, which is essentially a bake sale. Please consider bringing your favorite holiday treat to donate though we ask for no items with nuts. Include info on ingredients and who made them. Consider supporting global nonprofits like Heifer International who support farmers, SERVV, dedicated to fighting poverty through fair trade working with artisans, or Church World Services, helping supply critical needs related to housing, food, education, health, and water. Information and catalogs will be available.  Questions? Contact Nancy Gruschow.
