Youth @ Church (YAC)
Whether through discussion, games, or service, we seek to find ways for our youth to
develop and express their faith in an open and welcoming Christian community. YAC
meets mostly on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm, and the youth range in age from 13 to 18 years old.
YAC is made up of church members and their friends, and is open to any teenager who
wants to be a part of the group. We engage in faith formation in a variety of ways, including hands on mission projects, periodic missionfundraising for local and world-wide mission efforts,worship service involvement, and numerous opportunities for fun activities. YAC events are planned and led by a variety of adult volunteers who care about the young people in our church and the wider community. Friends are welcome, and parents are always invited to stop in and see what we are doing. Come join the outreach for youth at LUCC!!!

After a trip to General Synod in Hartford, Connecticut, in 2007, the youth presented
their experiences to the congregation.
YACarritos, an assortment of breakfast burritos, are a specialty of YAC!
They make them several times a year for fundraising - to the delight of the
congregation!
Eating YACaritos is as much fun as making them!
