We believe that discipleship requires life-long learning and practice, which begins at a very early age. Our Sunday school is designed so that children first experience church as a positive, fun, loving, and safe place. Through age-appropriate weekly lessons grounded in Bible stories, children encounter God, learn about Jesus, and begin the wonderful journey of discovering how to live as thoughtful Christians. 


Sunday Morning Schedule

Child care is provided for
children 3 and under in the Nursery.
 
Nursery: 3 yrs of age and under from 9:30 - 11:15 a.m.

We have two nursery attendants with CPR and first aid certification, as well as having had background checks. Youth teaching assistants from the youth group (YAC) are their helpers.  		pict

Building Blocks of Faith

Our new Sunday School program is called Building Blocks of Faith and is open to all children from Pre-K (age 4) to 6th grade. The children meet during the church hour to participate in different "blocks" such as activities, art and games based around a Biblical theme. Each class is led by two teachers who team teach, and both follow the Safe Church guidelines. A schedule for this year's themes is below.

 
Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd grade, known as our Lambs, meet in the Pre-school Room to learn about many Biblical stories through activities, art, and games.

 

Grades 3 - 6, known as our Doves, meet in the Stage Room to speak and learn about many different stories throughout the Bible, through reading, art, interactive activities, and games.
