“Come and follow me” Jesus said. He didn’t ask what they believed. He didn’t care what they did as a job. He didn’t have any tests of faith or requirements to join. Here at Lakewood UCC we are a community of people seeking first to follow Jesus Christ. This means we are a people of prayer and discernment. This means we read and interpret scripture together. This means we are welcoming to all. This means we are committed to issues of peace and justice.
