Mark 1:4-11

This Sunday is the first Sunday in the season of Epiphany. Epiphany, as a season, focuses on the revealing of who Jesus is and who God is, in and with, humanity. This Sunday we get the story of Jesus’s baptism where God speaks from the heavens and says, “this is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” It is a revelation of who Jesus is and the unveiling of who he is to become. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Curt preaches on Baptism, Jesus’s and our own, and what it means when we come through the waters.

This Sunday we will celebrate communion, please gather your communion elements for the service.

This Sunday we will celebrate Epiphany, marking the arrival of the Wise Ones to Jesus, Mary and Joseph. We are told they are led by a bright shining star, and we invite you to print and color this star for your own homes, as we reflect on this sacred story of journey and light.
