Matthew 4:12-23
In this week’s reading from the Gospel of Matthew, we hear the call story of Peter, Andrew, James, and John, who respond to Jesus’s simple invitation to follow him and to immediately do so. We, too, are invited to follow Jesus and are invited to participate in God’s realm that is here and draws near. What barriers do we put up to participation, ours and other’s? What does the invitation to follow Jesus and participate in God’s work look like in our lives today? On this congregational meeting day, join your faith community in worship as Rev.
